A great day for a hike; temperatures in the high 30's and a sun hidden only by occasional clouds. We started on 4" of snow with
the trail packed down so we didn't need snowshoes but as we got higher the snow depth increased and the trail was no longer
broken; so we were using snowshoes most of the rest of the way. Along the ridge the snow was about a foot deep.
